Hello, I am an optometrist working at a local clinic. I started this blog while working full time because I feel like there is a lot of common knowledge about your eyes, eyesight and myths that a lot of people are unaware about. As a working practitioner, we only have so many hours in a day to meet with a client 1:1 and go over everything about your eyes, so I feel like having a blog and writing about eye care and how to take care of your eyes online is a great way to get more eyeballs to read and understand your eye conditions better. It allows the practitioner to reach people even if they are unable to make it in for an eye exam due to time and physical restraints. Of course, you can always book an exam with me if you are able to get me to have your actual eyes examined in a comprehensive eye exam.
